With the beginning of a new year we have made some exciting changes at Biwa: new menu items, evolutions of our happy hour, and the addition of the much lauded Biwa Hamburger to our late night offerings!
Once available only on our birthday, March 15th, and on Memorial Day, by popular request the Biwa Hamburger (seasoned ground beef, chasyu pork, kimchi mayo… ) is now available every night after 10:00 on our late night menu! We have made some other improvements to our late night as well ($5 cocktails… ) and we hope to see you here soon!
Will has started rolling out the first of the new “late winter menu” dishes and we all like them a lot and think you will too. Those of you who remember the early days of Biwa may recall with fondness the curry rice… it is back (!), along with new Kobe beef tataki and maguro nuta-ae salads.
As a restaurant that is as concerned with tradition as we are with innovation, we have also made some changes to our happy hour. We are now offering more traditional happy hours, from 5:00 until 6:30 as well as our very popular hour of $5 ramen and udon from 9:00 until 10:00, with the addition of $5 cocktails thoughtfully mixed by Erik, Lisa and Tom, to our offerings.
